The interventions which took place have been on one hand the construction of a cantilevered service lane on the side of the bridge and on the other the operations of cleaning and structural rehabilitation.

These operations included the cleaning up and repair of the concrete facing and the subsequent application of anti-carbonation paint.

The arch masonrywork was repointed and then injected with grout for consolidation.

Improvements were made in drainage including spills, weep holes and sealing of joints between deck slabs.
