On February 24th, we signed a contract with the Ministry of Public Works of the Junta de Andalucía for the drafting of the construction project: Humanization of the thoroughfare and connection of Montequinto on the A-376 Road, with a completion period of 24 months.
The work will involve drafting and preparing the necessary documents to define in detail the construction works for the widening, improvement, and partial undergrounding of the A-376 road, as well as the remodeling of the two existing junctions. Additionally, a pedestrian and cycling path will be designed within the urban center of Montequinto (Seville).
This road serves as the natural connection between Seville, Dos Hermanas, and Utrera, handling heavy traffic due to the increase in economic activity and urbanized areas over recent years. This has led to infrastructure saturation, resulting in low service levels and hazardous points for road safety.
This new project will improve safety and connectivity between historically separated urban areas, while also reducing noise pollution from the road, which is located just a few meters from residential areas.
