The design concept of the new pedestrian/cycle bridge consists of a rational and emotional dialogue with the area.
Its great architectural and functional value allows it to harmoniously connect the historic centre of Ortona with the Fonte Grande district.
The structure allows the stream to flow freely and does not interfere with the identity of the area characterised by a rich variety of vegetation. The bridge stands out for its modern design, with a precise architectural identity that allows an unprecedented view of the stream and the wooded area. In short, a bridge that does not prevail over the territory, on the contrary, it enriches it.
A design idea that can be summed up in three words: Integration, Territory, Mobility.
