At the end of 2023, FHECOR completed the Modified Project of the railway viaduct over the EX-108 and EX-A1 roads belonging to the Madrid-Extremadura High Speed Line. Section: Río Tiétar-Malpartida de Plasencia in the province of Cáceres, promoted by ADIF.
The viaduct has a total length of 613 m distributed in five sections, or independent structures, two steel trusses with a lower deck for the crossing over the roads and three sections of prefabricated concrete beams also with a lower deck.
One of the images shows a test section of the longitudinal girders of the deck, built by FERROVIAL on site. The 3D models have been made by FHECOR as part of the technical assistance to the execution.
It is a great satisfaction for us to work together with FERROVIAL in the construction of such an innovative solution for the Atlantic Corridor of the L.A.V. Madrid - Extremadura - Portuguese Border.
