With the motive of the candidature to organize the 2012 Olympic Games in Madrid, the necessary infrastructures are being projected and constructed.
The illusion that the Madrilenians have, to support the candidature has spread to the technical world of structural concrete, which supported by the magnitude and quality of the works under development, has decided to organize its traditional annual technical symposium under the title of ‘The architecture of Madrid 2012. Projects and Works’.
Three projects shall be presented in this symposium, which are considered to be the most emblematic of Madrid 2012. Of these three projects, a double point of view shall be offered; architecturally in which they are unique, and structurally in which they are innovative and singular.
