The offices of the Municipal Transport Company will be moving to the new building in six months, located in Méndez Álvaro Street (Retiro). The building is formed by two translucent modules, one of which is suspended in the air by two 600 tonne beams. The new premises have a total surface area of about 6,200m2 and have a budget approximating €16,220,000. Close to the main building, a smaller 15.0m high building will be erected, which will act as a sound barrier, and this will be connected to the main building by a pedestrian footbridge.
